Chicago Travel Journal Pages

Chicago Travel Journal Hot Wheels and Glue Guns

Hello, friends- welcome back! My creative mojo keeps on rolling in the form of travel journals. Early in May I had a super quick (24 hours) in one of my favorite cities-Chicago! I had all the supplies from these pages together in a kit so I used them to document a few bits of my trip.

I used products primarily from the  Carolina Moon and Oddysey kits from Studio Calico, and the colors and patterns were PERFECT. Looks like both are sold out, but I found a few similar things online you could add to your stash! Moleskine Notebook Gold Letter StickersMy favorite black pen The perfectly sized label stickerscamera washi tapeYellow Calendar Washi Tape , Gold Binder Clips. The 'ROAD TRIP' stamp was from an old Ali Edwards set and I used a little blue watercolor paint to fill it in, mostly because I wanted to see if the paper would hold up (spoiler alert-it was great, no bleed through! )

It was two days of: an Ellie Goulding concert, site seeing, and good food (obviously)
I used a gold bulldog clip to hold a few receipts and a journal card to the page. Easy Peasy. The yellow border behind the picture on the right is actually washi tape covered paper.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have enjoyed this look into my travel journal. Are you ready to see more? I'm contributing to the Little Summer Joy class this month, and you can follow my progress on Instagram (and soon to come on the blog!)
