2015 Scrapbook Cover Page

Hello, Peeps!

I have this thing when it comes to my memory keeping. It's not what most people do, but I am a chronological kind of girl. I keep my stories in time order and I like to finish last year before I start the new year. Why am I like this? Why do I put this rule on myself? Both excellent questions. Dunno. Maybe it's my way of controlling the chaos of the world by keeping my memories neat and tidy on a shelf.......or maybe I should stop gazing at my navel.

Who cares right!?! Within each uear I mix in some old, childhood memories and my layouts are not in perfect order, but I do like finishing one year before starting another. Along with starting a new year I usually make a 'cover page'. I shared my 2014 cover page HERE. I finally finished up 2014 and ordered a big old stack of pictures from the first half of 2015. I can't wait to dig in!

Behold- 2015, Page One.

(please note: my big camera is in the shot, so I used my iPhone. A little dark for my taste) I really like these divided page protectors from We R Memory Keepers for a page like this. I filled the left side with a random mix of photos from last year. No really important pictures here, but a mix I thought looked fun together. And that bottom middle pic? Might just be the best Chinese meal in Louisville.

I filled the right pockets with a few pieces I picked out from my stash. I linked all the products below so you can find them, there's a few sequins, wood pieces, and paper circles. A few of the pieces came from this Maker Mini kit-you should totally get this kit it is full of awesome. The bottom square I stamped this stamp with Staz On ink. I stitched the pockets closed with my sewing machine.I love that you can see thru to the next page.

On the backside of the pictures I added a fun piece of black and white paper. You can also see here that some of the little wood pieces and paper circles I glued back to back so you could see them from both sides....clever, I know.

Thanks for stopping by! I've been playing with foil this week and I'll be back in a few days to share something fun I've made!

Till then,

Michelle
