2014- Let's Go! (Scrapbook Front Page)

Today I just wanted to share the title page for my 2014. 

I was really inspired by this layout by Elise Blaha Cripe. Seriously, you should see her blog, she's crazy talented!  I got so jazzed by the quilted look, and I loved the challenge of sewing it up this way.

I am not gonna lie. This was hard, and took so much longer than necessary.  Please don't look to closely at my stitching. I just looked at what Elise did and worked on it slowly. This week she is sharing exactly how she did it on the Studio Calico blog- man, do I wish I had this when I worked on my own layout! (I did this way back in January). I think my favorite parts are the ones that are clear with some sequins or wood bits sewn in. I think they are too fun! To keep the back from looking like a hot mess I decided to cut up a single piece of paper and add that. I am so glad I did, here's a look.
