Florida Mini Album

Oh boy, I am deep in the winter blahs right now. I am SO SICK of snow, wearing three layers and scraping ice. And don't get me started on that groundhog..........

But, that's not why you stopped by, right? Nobody needs to hear me bitch remind them that it's still cold outside. Instead, let's imagine it is June, we are sitting int he sun with a fruity drink in our hands.......

ahhh....that's better, right? Now that we are in the right frame of mind, check out a little mini book I made about a weekend trip to Florida back in September. I went  to visit a good friend and go to Universal Studios! It was a really fun 3 days and this book makes me excited to go back soon.  I linked everything I used at the bottom of the post.

Check it out:

that fabulous letterpress card is from an old Kelly Purkey kit (now sold out), and I love that the you can see through the vellum to the first picture! I love the simple title page- a little washi, letter stickers right on top of a beautiful photo...

(I am so sorry about the glare on these pictures, from some reason I couldn't get them to not shine back?) I recently picked up this stamp set from Mama Elephant and you will see it all over this book.

I also used several die cut cards from Dear Lizzy. I tucked them behind, layered them, and for one page and I made a flap to show the picture and give me a space to journal right on the back!

I love naps maps, so for the last page I just added the map right in, I like how I can look at it and imagine all the places we visited.

Thanks for stopping by! Again, all the products are linked below....I hope I inspired you! (or at least warmed you up a little!

Later,
Michelle
