Louisville locals like myself know that the Kentucky Derby is more than just about the horse race. It's a two week party leading up to the 1st Saturday in May. Here's a few snapshots from my Derby fun this year:
My first Derby hat! Simple, but I loved it!
My first time at the Great Steamboat Race, from the Chow Wagon. The Chow Wagons are a story onto themselves. Holy moly, the things you see there..........crazy.
Day At The Downs. I got lucky with my company, not so much with my betting.
We may have snuck onto the red carpet to snap pictures like celebrities. Maybe.
The Parade! The UofL mens' and womens' basketball teams were Grand Marshalls.
Will, from Big Brother. I'm a fan.
