Hey y'all!
Hope everyone is having a good week. Yes? Good....now onto the crafty stuff. I love making cards, but I have never been the make-100-of-my-own-Christmas-card kind of girl. I don't have the patience, or any interest in making a huge batch of anything. However, at Halloween I get inspired by all the papers and embellishments I see online and I buy a bunch to make a few cards for friends and family. I just go until I have a big stack (-or I get bored ; ).
This year I first pulled out the leftovers from last year-and there were alot (I know, I bought too much....shocking). I cut a bunch of gray cardstock for the bases, and just kind of mixed and matched. Each card comes out a little different, which I love. Here are a few examples ( I noted supplies as possible):
(paper: Teresa Collins, die cut and washi: Martha Stewart)
(phrase stamp: Kelly Purkey for Simon Says Stamp, die cut and washi: Martha, spider paper: My Mind's Eye?)
(papers: all over the place, sentiment: Kelly Purkey for Simon Says Stamp. I was trying to recreate the chevron technique I saw here)
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you found something to inspire you (I'll keep an eye on the mailbox ; ) )
xoxo,
Michelle
