Adventures in Gatlinburg Travel Mini Album

TravelMiniAlbumHotWHeelsandGlueGuns

Hello friends! Today I want to share my latest mini album. In the scrapbooking world I have been obsessed following Paige Evans for a while now. I LOVVVVE her paper lines from Pink Paislee and her paper stitching style. She recently started a FB group and if you are fellow scrapbooker you should totally add it to your read list.

Last fall I took a weekend trip with my family to Gatlinburg and knew I wanted to show them off in their own mini album. This project is a mix of 'memory keeping' and just-for-fun paper playing. I used a lot of techniques I thought you might like to see in practice.

Take a look...

In addition to the Turn The Page collection of papers from Paige Evans I pulled tags and bits out of my stash (I tried to tag as many as possible at the end so you can check them out online)

I did a fair amount of machine stitching and die cutting.
It's kind of my favorite way to play with paper.

This book is very Bridget heavy. She's my niece and she is at PEAK CUTENESS. So I'm sure you'll forgive me

I have had a pack of these wood veneer envelopes and I love them for adding texture and as a place to tuck mementos and more photos.
I spent a lot of time in the back seat while someone else drove this weekend, so I decided to document that view. Also, I need to fill this journalling card in with all the places we stopped.

More die cutting and more selfies with my family = ). And that view! Tennessee is amazing in the fall.

The end! Such a fun project to put together, it came along right when I needed something creative and just for fun. Don't forget to check out the supply list below so you can make your own mini album = ).
