Another Sleepless Night Layout.

Last Monday I shared a couple of layouts I made during a bout of insomnia recently. Today I have a third page I added to my 2014 scrapbook.

This layout was 100% inspired by two people- my grandmother and Paige Evans. I love LOVE Paige's style and have wanted to recreate a page like hers, she has a real talent for using lots of patterns and colors and quilting together a cool background. I had this great picture of Grandma from over the summer. I started by cutting this free cut file from the Silhouette store and traced and cut out pieces to go behind the spaces. It took a long time, but again, I was trying to relax, and it was pretty mindless work. I really love the way this turned out and if I have the time I'd love to recreate it. However, that journaling is a little too mushy, I might rewrite it. Late night journaling went WAY sentimental, lol.

So, did anyone make something pretty on National Scrapbook Day? It was also KY Derby Day around here, so I was at a party and not in my office.. So, share friends! I want to see what you made!
