Lawn Fawn and Hero Arts Cards (You're Awesome, Hello Stars and My Type)

Hey y'all!

First, I want to thank everyone who +1, pinned and shared my last post! I really loved that project and I'm so glad people liked it too!

Speaking of +1- I'm on Google Plus! I have a PERSONAL PROFILE and one for my ETSY SHOP. Come find me!

{YOU'RE AWESOME!}

I have been playing around with creating a letterpress look with supplies I already have. I put together a little tutorial, which I will post on Monday! While I was figuring things out I ended up with a couple of not perfect backgrounds I decided to cut down and use for these cards!

I am seriously in love with the brightness of the letterpress inks, and using an embossing folder was super easy. Hot pink + Neon yellow= awesome.

This card is more subtle, with a little shimmer. Very pretty in real life.

{YOU'RE MY TYPE OF FRIEND}

The folks over at Blog Named Hero challenged us to create a bokeh effect on a card.

I did a similar card here. I loved the way it turned out, so I redid the same design, with different colors and textures. I like the way you can kind of see the background thru the vellum. The stamps I used are old, like several years old. But, I found them on Amazon and I linked them below!

That's it for today, Hope you have a great week! Come back on Monday to learn more about my adventures in letterpressing!

xoxo,
Michelle
