2 Spring Layouts

Happy June, y'all!
Thanks to everybody who left comments on my craft room tour post, I hope you found some inspiration! Today I just wanted to share a couple of layouts I made from spring themed events. As always, I linked up everything so you could easily find it for yourself!

St. Patty's Parade. True fact: Louisville is cah-razy about St. Patrick's Day. I kind of knew this, but never took much note of it. The last time I went out on St. Patrick's Day I was annoyed at all the drunk college kids, so.....yeah. Not a huge deal for me. However, this year was a game changer. My friend Bethaney invited me to watch the Bardstown Road St. Patrick's Day Parade. Oh man, I had no idea. It was so big! And so much fun! Check it out:

supplies: paper, tab, and circle tag-Elle's Studio, badges-Evalicious & Ormolu, wood veneer-Studio Calico, letter stickers-October Afternoon & Thickers, washi-Freckled Fawn

Nothing too exciting technique-wise. I wanted to use a lot of pictures, so I tried not to make the background too busy. I don't know, maybe it's too busy anyway? Lol

This Is My Happy Place. Oh, these kids. Aren't those little blue sunglasses too cute? The two little ones were serious business about hunting Easter eggs. Grandpa and I had fun filling them up with candy and coins (and a few $5 bills ; ) ) Check it out:

supplies: paper and die cut card-Dear Lizzy, journal card and circle tags-Elle's Studio, washi tape- Freckled Fawn & MME, sequins.

I seriously love the look of putting sequins behind those die cut cards. It looks way better in real life!

So, what are your scrappy plans this weekend? I have a DVR full of shows to catch up on and two little projects I have wanted to work on for a while, should be a good weekend!

(you know a parade is good when Elvis shows up...hahahaaaa)
