I am in love-with a new stamp company.
Mama Elephant is new to me, and their stamps are killing me (and my wallet). I already own 4 sets (more on that in the next post), and I wanted to do a quick share of 2 cards I recently made with them.
Have you ever had a project in mind and then when you made it, it was exactly as awesome as you thought it would be. That's how I feel about these cards. I ordered the stamps here, then I stalked tracked USPS.com while my package slooowwwly made its way to me. All the while, I daydreamed about all the awesome cards I would fashion together and how my friends would squeal with delight (ok, maybe I made that last part up). Then, they finally arrived-a stuffed manila envelope of stampy goodness. I made these two cards right then and there (no kidding, I was up until, like, midnight)
Next week two of my peeps have birthdays. Cosmic Love is one of my new sets, and I could not WAIT to use them! Check it out:
Aren't those girls adorable? There's 12 girls for each Zodiac sign-so I think I will be using these stamps like crazy.
The sentiments are from a companion set-Starry Night. Also see myself getting a lot of use out of that one. I cut the white background on my Silhouette, then backed by yellow, and just a touch of glassy accents. Oh, and rhinestones. A close up:
