Waiting For Dinner...

...a very nice person is in my kitchen right now cooking me fettuccine alfredo, YUM! So, I thought I would check in to share a few projects I made for this week's SPCC Blog Challenge.

Here are the colors we had to work with:

Here are the projects I made:

(supplies: cardstock, patterned paper: Love, Elsie and SEI, flower embellishment: SEI, quote: DCWV, ribbon)
a card for my hair stylist who is a newlywed. A pretty obvious translation of the color scheme.

(supplies: patterned paper: We R Memory Keepers for Archivers, stamp: can't remember but will post when I find it =), apron lace punch: Fiskars, brads, kraft cardstock, ribbon)

This is a picture I have been waiting to scrapbook. For this project I took more liberties with the color scheme. The patterned paper is a little darker, but the bubbles in the picture are just the right color. Lots of dimension with good old pop dots. Here's a close up:

The journalling reads: 'It is my experience that people without any vices often don't have many virtues- Abraham Lincoln'

Will be back soon to post pictures of an awesome baby shower invite I just finished. Off to mange! CIAO!
