Handmade Valentines-Part One

Happy Monday, y'all!

This weekend I had a very creative surge and made a whole bunch of cards! I haven't had much to scrapbook lately, so I think this satisfies my urge to play around with paper.  Be warned-I'm going to post a LOT this week (I hope that a good thing!). Today I wanted to share these cute little Valentines I made for two little boys who are dear to my heart. I was inspired by my new stamp set and this challenge over at Lanwscaping Challenges

Check it out:

supplies: Lawn Fawn Here's The Scoop Stamp, Hero Arts Dots & Stripes Background, washi tape (from my stash-random), Black Staz-On ink, Hero Arts chalk ink, colored pencils, cardstock from my stash

To create the background I stamped a trio of pieces from the Lawn Fawn set, then stamped them again on Post it notes, used the Post-it as a mask. I inked one of my most used background stamps with two colors of chalk ink, overlapping them. I then stamped that to make the fun background! I then added the sentiments. I did both cards basically the same, just played around with images.

A little close up, I am not the world's best stamper, so there are some flaws...

Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back soon,

Michelle
