What's Keeping Me Up at Night

Or, more accurately-what's on my mind on this lovely snowy weekend.

Buckle up for the brain dump......

[CONAN VS. JAY]

The late night drama has been entertaining and sad all at the same time. I'll admit, the shameless side of me loved to watch the bickering back and forth. I am a newish Conan fan, never really been a Jay fan. Don't dislike him, but never really got into him. I got turned onto Conan about 6 months ago, and since then he has become a faithful part of my nighttime routine. Most nights I would get in my jammies and drift off listening to Conan's jokes and this guy...

[CRAIG]
my new TV crush. I don't know what it is about him, but he makes me feel all swoony. It happened just about the time I finished reading his new book. It's hilarious, honest, heartbreaking, and heartwarming all at the same time. A cute guy with a foreign accent, who tells slightly off color jokes? I'm yours!

I don't know what I will do if Conan gets a new show, and it is on at 12:30...ugh.

[NEW PODCAST]
I have recently added the Paperclipping Roundtable to my Itunes roster (along with this and that). The Roundtable is a semi rotating group of scrapbookers talking about all sorts of crafty topics. The producer is a guy named Izzy and his commentary is pretty funny. A nice lively show to listen to. Today while at the grocery I listened to the newest show with Ali Edwards talking about the concept of story-changing the purpose of your hobby from 'scrapping all your photos' to telling the stories of your life. Made me stop and think about how I am going to approach my scrapbook this year.

[BASKETBALL]
We are in high tide of the college basketball season, aka 'the happiest time of Michelle's year'. The two teams I follow most religiously are Louisville and Xavier. Last weekend my father and I made our annual trip to watch the Muskies. You may have seen us on ESPN, we were in the dark shadows in the top row on the left (ha! we were in the VERY LAST ROW!). But, we still had a ball, we always do!

[I MISS MY CAMERA]
The above picture is actually from LAST year's Xavier game. For the past month my camera has been in the shop waiting for a new flash something or other. Luckily, I have awesome friends who lend me their cameras for special events, but I still miss her and taking random shots like this:

*GET WELL SOON! (And THANK YOU for only costing $55 to fix!)*

[LADY GAGA]
I got this CD for Christmas and have this one on rotation in my car right now. And I have been semi staking her online. She fascinates me, I have no idea why. I am just jamming along, and I can't wait to see her perform on the GRAMMYS! Check out this performance fom the AMA's. So creative and such a voice!
